Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

They are so cute it makes me want to get a kitty, too bad Dar thinks they taste like chicken:)
With all of the chicken that you feed him, he shouldn't need any more. Are you sure that he still likes cat-etizers? :)
Kitties!!! That third picture down was my desktop for many months. Such cute pictures. At one time we had six cats in this house (adopted a stray apple Simese who was pregnant). We found homes for some and ended up with three. The last one at 13 years of age was put to sleep last May due to kidney failure. A sad time for all, but I still love anything to do with cats. And, yes, I like dogs too but just have never owned one :)
Animal shelters have web sites with pictures posted of the pets available for adoption. The best way to recover from a broken heart is to find a new love. :)
