Misadventurous Melissa

Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

No Time For Pomegranates

Now that pomegranates are in season, I've been enjoying them, but it takes about an hour for me to eat one. I pick at it with my fingers. Does anyone know an easier way to eat one? I don't always have an hour to devote to a pomegranate.

I pick the seeds off at night while I'm worshiping at the media temple (aka watching CSI) put them in a ziplock and they are ready to eat on the go. Yummy!

You have more self-control than I do. I eat the seeds as fast as I can free them.

I have a rule about that. I don't drink fruit juice, I only eat whole fruit. It helps cut down on calorie intake. :)
