Misadventurous Melissa

Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

Who Wants To Sleep With Me?

This is my bed and my sleeping companions. The left side of the bed is my side, but it regularly gets violated. In three of the pictures, Kelsey has his head or something worse on my pillow. This what I have to put up with every night, but it still beats sleeping alone. It might be a little crowded, but I think that we could make room for one more. Who wants to join me?

Ginger is welcome any time, Jake too, if he promises not to bite my nose. :)

You must sleep like a statue! I can't imagine how difficult that would be, my cat hogs the bed and i have been known at times to kick her off the bed unintentionally of course in my sleep!

I'm the one who gets kicked when the boys run in their sleep. I've learned to sleep on my right side to protect my face from dog kicks. If your cat weighed as much as my boys, I don't think that you would be able to kick her out of bed. :)
