Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

What an angel!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww, Sarah gets the best photos!
Yeah! You seem to gets lots of stuff from Sarah. When's she gonna start HER own blog?
She could call it "Ten Things to do with Men" :)
dk, I appreciate the challenge but it's a well known fact that I am much too lazy to maintain a blog, and the pressure of having to amuse and entertain so many people every day would surely increase my daily medication intake...(hmm, maybe not such a bad thing). I do not photograph well, I don't particularily like seeing my photos on the internet and I have no talent in photography. And what do I know about men anyway? I am divorced and I do not date men.
So here is my top ten list of things I have done with men in the last week:
1. Have them move some heavy stuff in my garage.
2. Have them crawl under my house (where the spiders live) to run new phone, and electrical lines.
3. Have them rewire and upgrade the electrical so I can build out my stained glass workshop (I can do the insulation, hang the drywall, tape, mud & paint myself)
4. Have them repair my leaking water heater and snake my shower drain.
5. Have them fix my dishwasher.
6. Have them dig some large holes in my yard for plants, flowers and trees.
7. Have them clean and oil my guns at the range while I try out some new handguns.
8. Have them wash my car.
9. Have my vet do a minor surgical procedure on one of my dogs (I assisted).
10. Convinced the medical directors of a large company into giving me the new job I want with a great salary, benefits, paid continuing education simply by dressing appropriately for the interview, (and of course having the proper qualifications).
And what did I do for them...well I paid nothing for most of the above services, what I did pay was substantially discounted by calculated debate. The most meaningful thing I did was to cook for some of them, which I love doing anyway. All I would write about is my beloved dogs and no one really wants to hear about them. Should my life at some point in the future become at all interesting I will certainly consider your kind suggestion.
See Sarah? That's exactly why you should have a blog. You're so funny! But then, if you did get your own blog, what would I do for material? :)
