Shoe Pile

It's not my intention to disparage men, but I'm guessing that my closet was designed by one. A woman would have understood the need for more closet floor space.
Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

Thanks for making my closet look good! I don't feel so ashamed now :)
It's a good thing that I didn't post a picture of the top half of the closet. That's the really bad part. I often have avalanches. (Yes, I really do need all of my stuff.)
Don't worry, I'll help you take care of that little problem;)
I know that you could, Sarah, but I need my shoes. They are not going to a shelter.
