Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

Who said animals were not like kids??!!
I sympathise, believe me, I do. I only have one dog, but it's the same everytime. :-)
Maybe we should attach sponges to their feet ;-)
You should all know that Melissa actually learned how to use power tools and she installed that floor ALL BY HERSELF! It was her first major wood project and it came out beautiful! How cool is that!
Thank you, Sarah, I am severely impressed!
And a little note to other OCD cleanaholics: do NOT click on the image and make it bigger! LOL
;)
Michelle, I've never said that. My dogs are my kids.
Karen, I'm willing to try anything, but my dogs would probably just chew up the sponges into little bits.
Lisa, my water dogs will pee on the carpet, or worse if it's raining.
Sarah, thanks, but the rugs hide the mistakes. I will not be laying floors again.
Mary, as bad as it looks enlarged, it looks far worse in real life.
I bet if you to a squeege and gathered all the dog goop up, it would look like one of the sauces they put on chicken at your hospital.
