Misadventurous Melissa

Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

Pillow And Duct Tape Therapy

He's behind the door. He's the reason that every nurse has a splitting headache, tummy ache, aching muscles and fatigue. Imagine a man strapped to a torture rack and slowly being stretched apart. Those are the blood-curdling, shrieking screams we hear. It never stops. The man does not sleep. He also doesn't know why he's screaming. When asked, he screams, "I don't knoooooow!" Screaming is just something he has to do, like other people have to breathe.

We're plotting to kill him. Not really, just in fantasy. We're debating between duct tape therapy and pillow therapy. I prefer duct tape because once it's across his mouth and nose. I can just walk away and nature will take care of the rest. Another nurse prefers pillow therapy just because of the physical release of holding him down and fighting him as he suffocates. The ideal solution would be if he coded and we could take our time until we were sure that he was good and dead. That's called a slow code blue. No, we wouldn't really do that, but we can still dream.

I agree with the pillow! You could then mail him to me, perfect climate here at the moment to bury his body (coated in lime) in the sand dunes. He'd be decomposed by the time anyone suspected a thing!

Disclaimer...I am NOT,NOT some freak who goes around killing people and burying them in sandunes.I do know however that this method does work!

I appreciate the offer, Michelle, but if he mysteriously dies, all we have to do is say that we don't know what happened, we just found him like that. The people who take bodies away would just come and take him away. People die all of the time here. He would just be one of many.
