Misadventurous Melissa

Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

Mystery Delicacy

I ate this. I really didn't want to. The nurse who gave it to me said that it was salty and funky with a seed in the middle. She was right. Want to guess what it is?

I just have one question: Do you play with your food? :)

Does it have anything to do with Richard and his swallowed dental work? :)

Dave, no, I didn't roll my food into a tube-like shape, and, lol, it has nothing to do with Richard.

Madwag, it's not that either.

We were thinking tamarind also, but still not sure.

I will also vote for tamarind.

Madwag, it wasn't nearly as yummy as dates.

Trijack, nice blog you have. I look forward to reading more of your adventures in the ER.

May, close enough, it was salted and smoked tamarind. If they had left it alone, I would have loved it.

Michelle, you've probably seen it in the pods it comes in.

Alan and Irene, you're right. Too bad it wasn't served in its original form. That tube shape kind of scared me.
