Internet Interruption

Yesterday, I was blogging when the phone rang. It's completely impossible for me to have the use of the internet and phone at the same time. Curious, I picked up the phone and it was the phone company. They just wanted to let me know that they were going to disconnect my phone service for a few minutes to connect me to DSL.

When I returned to my computer, it was off the internet and my half-finished post was gone. I'm glad to get DSL, but geeez! I didn't know they could do that.

This morning I found the DSL equipment on my front porch. They said that it's easy to install, but they don't know who they're dealing with. Me. It's funny how some people can look at a box of equipment and get excited, while I view it with dread.
