Misadventurous Melissa

Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

Sarah, Dog and Pie Pictures

These are just a few more pictures of Sarah. Sarah is planning another photo session soon that will involve leather, chaps, cleavage and a hog. Stay tuned.

Yes, where is Dave? I thought for sure his would be the first comment! I mean after all, that is a great shot of that beautiful stove.

Lisa, the black dog is a Newfoundland mix, but he's not really all that big, Sarah's just tiny. The Golden I borrowed for my picture taken on the couch surrounded my Goldens, which you put on the sidebar.

Irene, I've been wondering about that too. Maybe the shots of the dogs on the bed were upsetting. (Too much competition.) :)

It's not a hog, it called a "bar hopper". It came as a full dresser with the saddle bags with all the fringe, leather handle "streamers" and the big studded rear seat "aka bitch pad" with a backrest for long rides. When you strip them down and remove the back seat they call them bar hoppers. I don't know why as I would never ride to go bar hopping, that's what taxis are for, and I don't like bars anyway, but it does take a lot of weight off the bike so it's a lot easier to handle. I haven't decided if I want to use that one or the softtail (also a stripped down barhopper).

What stove?

No, seriously. These photos are too much.

Too much dog, too much clothing. ;)

Okay, maybe that wasn't seriously.

Sarah, I don't understand bikes, but it doesn't matter. Just take the damn pictures. And you saw what Dave said, wear less clothing, don't hide behind the dogs and figure out how to get rid of the date stamp. We're waiting.

Sorry, there will be no slutty biker mama photos today. On New Years it is my day to spend alone baking several types of sweet challah to dip in honey to signify a sweet new year, matzo ball soup, potato latkes, roast chicken (for the dogs) and cheese blinze souffle with sour cream, applesauce and strawberry preserves.

And I wasn't invited?

Or me? I would have liked matzo brei as well, though. :)

You are always invited, and you too dk, and I would love it if you would bring the matzo brei.

I know what matzo is, but what is brei?

Matzo brei is like French toast, with matzo instead of bread. :)

Does Sarah make noodle pudding (kugel)? I'm going to make a batch, and while it's always tasty, it always seems to be missing some flavor I remember from when I was a kid. Could she post her recipe here? :)
