Misadventurous Melissa

Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

Don't I Look Purty?





Now that the flash on my camera is broken, it was mentioned by Running 2Ks that I could now get a gauzy flattering look in my photos. I don't think that has happened. Although who knows, with a sharper focus I might look even worse, if that's possible.

Even with glasses on and your arm holding the camera (I'm assuming that's what you had to do - unless you've trained the dogs to take photos or you have a mysterious boyfriend you haven't told us about -- Like how I did that, by the way? Gave you a mysterious boyfriend instead of just fictionizing that it was Sarah or another friend who possibly held the camera? Aren't I thoughtful?!) you are gorgeous!

A million times prettier than a 'Moonlighted' Cybill Shepard! ;)

Everyone is being much too kind. The photo was a joke. No make up, hair dye, glasses and wearing only a towel, it doesn't get much worse than that. I do appreciate everyone's kind words, though. :)
