Which Dog?
I've submitted an application with a Golden Retriever rescue organization and am playing telephone tag with the person who needs to make a home visit. It's almost like adopting a baby with all of the hoops one has to jump through. Anyway, soon, I should be the proud owner of a new dog.
These are my favorites of the 14 dogs currently available. So, what do you think?

Update:
I downloaded the photos again. I hope that they stick this time.

I can't see the pics...it is only red x's.... hmmmmmm
I like the first one.
We're getting a chocolate lab pup next week. I can't wait!
They are all beautiful. Which one is the youngest?
I would go with Billy or Henny, Taylor's rep lives too far away, and is really hard to reach. Taylor has also been on the site for a while, ask them why...the stats are pretty low right now so there may be a behavioral/adjustment reason. The reps for the other 2 are local, you will have a much easier time facilitating a meeting and they can give ytou insight into the dogs personality that is not on the site.
Are you using Deborah? If so tell her who you are, I already talked to her about you, so your home visit will be a breeze. If not, Let me know and I can call her and speed things up.
Madwag, I'm sorry that you can't see the pics. I have no idea why that is.
beajerry, that is so exciting. I hope that you post lots of photos.
Connie, the first two are three and the last one is 18 months.
Sarah, my contact is Marisa. She and someone else, I don't know who, are coming over on Friday.
Taylor may have been waiting a long time because he is a mixed breed. I like him because he looks just like Tommy and may not have the purebred problems. How far away does he live?
I cant see either. What's up?
darn. I can't see the pictures. :(

I don't know Marisa, maybe she is a foster and is meeting the rep at your house.
Carol is fostering Taylor and she lives a couple hours away. I can give you her website if you want, but I don't know if she is keeping it up to date. The rescue site is a better resource.
Gary, Lisa and Karen, the photos have disappeared. I used blogger instead of photobucket this time. I guess it's unstable.
Sarah, Marisa is a failed foster. She refused to give up her foster dog when the time came. I would have the same problem.
I pick Henny. He's so pretty.
Taylor looks like she/he could use a special dog home like yours.
What a great dog site! I'm in love with all of your possible guys...it will be hard to choose.
My hubby and I will be filling out an application too...we're looking for a buddy for our 3 year old female rescued golden. Thanks to your friend who posted the site!
Lisa, Henny does have a cute face, but I think anon is right. Taylor looks like he needs me and I want to be needed.
Lisa, I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding a playmate for Ginger. :)
