Misadventurous Melissa

Everyday is an adventure, or misadventure as the case may be. It is the latter that makes for the best stories, inspiring the name of my blog. I'm a nurse and an attorney (and way too silly sometimes). I am retired now. WELCOME to my blog! This is a work of fiction inspired by true events. The patients I refer to are a patchwork quilt of various patient's problems mixed together. If you think you recognize someone, you are wrong. These people do not really exist.

The Boyfriend

I have this week off and I'm driving up north to visit Sarah for a few days. I don't know if I will be able to Blog from there. Sarah has been having computer issues lately. So, if you don't hear from me, that's where I am.

Oh, there is just one more thing. I have a boyfriend. (No, it's not Richard.) Even though I'm not Jewish, I've been looking for a nice Jewish boy and I found one. He's also a lawyer and is as crazy about dogs as I am. That is saying a lot. We're planning a trip to Hawaii this Fall.

How exciting! Give us the details of the meeting of the boyfriend. Was he a patient?

Mazel tov! I love my nice jewish boy, too. Hang on to this one. He sounds like a keeper. How devastated was Richard when you dumped him?

Alan, I'm leaning towards the big island, but we'll see. I have a thing about volcanoes.

Madwag, all in good time. :)

May, he could be nice and he was always nice to me, but he also behaved like an arrogant jerk at times towards other people. I guess that means he isn't a nice person.

Lisa, we were set up on a blind date about 7 years ago. Isn't life strange?

Connie, I didn't dump Richard. He just wasn't that in to me. It's just as well.

It's your husband that forever spoiled me in favor of nice Jewish boys. You got the keeper. :)

We've been friends for a long time and go out occasionally as "just friends". He just broke up with his girlfriend, so it seemed time to make my move.
